David Matthews

Mr. Matthews joined Center Rock Capital Partners in 2017. He brings close to 20 years of private equity, restructuring and operations experience.

Prior to joining Center Rock, Mr. Matthews was Director of Corporate Development at Cooper Standard, and a Vice President with Wynnchurch Capital from 2012 to 2016. Prior to Wynnchurch Mr. Matthews held positions at Clearview Capital, Conway MacKenzie and General Motors.

Mr. Matthews has a B.S. in Engineering from Harvard University, a Master of Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Mr. Matthews currently serves on the Board of Directors of American Piping Products and TAG Manufacturing.

Mr. Matthews lives in the Detroit area and enjoys spending his free time with his wife and three children (and one career change Leader Dog).
